1. Information We Access

LocalWatch is designed to be a privacy-first extension. It operates entirely within your browser. To function, the extension requires access to the following:

• Website Content: When you add a competitor, the extension opens their Google Maps page in a background tab to read the business name, public review count, and rating.
• Web History (User-Provided): The extension stores the specific Google Maps URLs that you explicitly add to your monitor list.

2. How We Use and Store Data

All data accessed by LocalWatch is processed and stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage API.

• We do not operate a backend server.
• We do not transmit your competitor lists, web history, or any extracted data to us or any third party.
• We do not collect analytics or telemetry.

3. Chrome Web Store Limited Use Disclosure

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Data Deletion

You can remove all data stored by LocalWatch at any time by clicking the "Remove" button next to individual competitors in the popup, or by uninstalling the extension from your browser.
